Biography

Dr. Mehmet Feridun Izgi is a distinguished member of the Corporate team with a focus on energy, employment and dispute resolution practices. Holding Ph.D. in Procedural Law, he has adeptly represented clients in commercial and administrative litigation, particularly within the energy sector.

Beyond dispute resolution, Dr. Izgi offers comprehensive legal guidance in employment law, encompassing areas like termination, company procedure formulation, compliance, internal probes, adaptive work models, and international employment dynamics and unions.

Proficient in corporate law, Dr. Izgi assists clients through every phase of commercial contracting—from document drafting and negotiations to managing contractual disagreements and supports the life sciences team. 

With his in-depth experience with energy sector and background as an in-house legal counsel of the energy conglomerate of Turkiye, he delivers legal insights and advocacy to both traditional and renewable energy firms. Dr. Izgi has played a pivotal role in numerous energy initiatives, drawing on his experience in project development, licensing, operational challenges, trade agreements, and innovative business model creation. His experience also extends to representing energy clientele in M&A ventures and related disputes.
