Maryam joined Newton Legal in 2016. Maryam works closely with several clients including Bapco, the Office of H.R.H. the Prime Minister and nogaholding. Maryam has significant experience working on a number of high-profile energy projects. Her practice areas include Energy, Corporate and Commercial.

Maryam is part of the Newton Legal team advising Bapco on the financing of its Bapco Modernization Program. Moreover, she advised nogaholding on its Global Medium-Term Note issue and on Tatweer Petroleum's Development and Production Sharing Agreement (DPSA).

Maryam has advised several public entities and state-owned companies on public procurement. Maryam sits on Bapco's Procurement Management Committee.
