Corporate associate Malcolm Abaza offers a deep understanding of the laws of Arab states belonging to the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), and has extensive experience of working with written Arabic in a legal context.

Mr. Abaza advises on a broad range of international corporate, commercial and financial matters, as well as local matters subject to Omani law. He represents international companies, both those who are looking to do business in Oman and those who already have a presence in the Sultanate, and local Omani businesses.

Before joining Curtis, Mr. Abaza worked in the London and Abu Dhabi offices of two international law firms and as regional counsel for a U.S. multinational's Middle Eastern business.
