Biography

Layla is a market-leading associate with an exceptional reputation in advising and assisting corporations with their corporate structuring needs.

Working closely with international, regional and domestic clients, Layla provides assistance to commercial entities in the full range of corporate structuring and restructuring related mandates including advising on FDI options, registering corporate entities, corporate restructuring, share transfers and re-organisations, asset transfers, nominee arrangements, sale purchase agreements, share mortgage agreements, personal guarantees, increases and decreases in capital, drafting and amending constitutional documents, corporate secretarial matters, advising on trust structures in Bahrain and conducting due diligence. 

Layla also has specialist, innovative experience in the start-up space specifically the growth of the FinTech sector, as well as advising on and assisting with Central Bank of Bahrain Sandbox applications.

Layla is a licensed Bahraini Attorney and is a qualified Solicitor of England & Wales.
