DaoHan is an indirect tax technical expert with experience across VAT, customs and excise taxes. He has managed more than 150 VAT implementation, advisory and compliance engagements across the GCC since moving to Bahrain in 2017.

DaoHan has a special focus on the real estate industry and the financial services industry (both conventional and Islamic). He has also advised on M&A matters focusing on indirect tax due diligence and cross border issues. DaoHan’s indirect tax experience also covers customs and trade matters, for example tariff code classification, import duty exemption applications. DaoHan speaks Mandarin, Cantonese and Malay.
