Amal is currently a Trainee at SOL. After graduating with an LLB in Law, an LLM in Maritime Law and being called to the Bar of England and Wales, she moved to Singapore to work in a Big4 law firm. She developed a keen interest in employment and dispute resolution and has worked on multi-billion dollar cases spanning across a number of jurisdictions. She also has experience in a legal-tech startup in London which gave her a unique perspective of law and technology, leading her to work on a project with the DIFC Courts. In the UAE, she interned at a top MENA firm prior to joining SOL, where she is training for the SQE/Bar. At SOL, Amal conducts legal research, assists with drafting legal documents, writing legal articles, and assisting as a junior on cases, including employment law, sports law and fashion law.
